Is marriage a gamble?

Hoyeah..this question has been lingering around my mind since I'm "double"...

Know him LEAD TO love him LEAD TO happy ending hopefully...

But happy ending means marriage right? No? Can be happy meh if this relationship stays as lover only without official ceremony tying it?

From my religion point, yes, marriage is one of the way out from maksiat...and I never deny this point ever in my life.

And I also realize, IT IS a gamble because we won't know what will happen to the happy-ending that we hope. Is it still gonna be happy-ending or less-happy-ending or on-top-of-the-world-ending or worst case scenario for me---> I don't love him then as much as I did now...

I've done solat istikharah but the doubt comes like roller coaster..sometimes I love him..sometimes I just felt that maybe we're not meant for each other.

Well I guess I need to ask from Allah after each prayer I do 5 times a day...

Please help me Ya Allah to decide whether he's the one...if he's not...I guess it will be better for us to leave this relationship so that he can find a better lady to be his life-time partner...amin.
